This is my first blog entry, and all I can think about is that one of my seventh graders was killed this weekend. He was shot, and no one knows whether it was an accident or not, but the shooter just ran away and let him bleed to death.
And I know most people would think that this would make me a big proponent of gun control, but the person who shot him wasn't supposed to have a gun legally. It didn't seem to stop him though, so what good is a law when the only ones who follow it are the innocent?
